Be Safe On 4th Of July...

I hope everyone has a good holiday weekend. Everyone should enjoy themselves but make sure things don't get too out of hand. If you are going to be drinking, make sure you have a designated driver or if your going to be in the Orange County area and think you will have some drinks but won't have a designated driver you can use this great service! It's Scooter Patrol, and it's free. Check out the site and if you think you will need a driver,take advantage of this public service. Call in before 5pm and let them know where you will be and someone from the service will come to meet you and drive your own car home for you. They have been featured in many articles in the OC register and Los Angeles Times and Toyota of Huntington Beach has even donated an additional car to the organization. Better safe then sorry, make sure you make your reservation. If you don't feel comfortable with that concept you can always call a cab; Yellow Cab has the largest fleet in Orange County and you can check out their website here, or call them at 1-800-4-My-Taxi (1-800-469-8294, write it down before you head out).

Those services and options are for my West Coast friends. For my people in the dirty dirty (New Orleans baby!) you can access Zingo Designated Drivers for the same concept as the above Scooter Patrol Service, but it does have some small fees here, but still a good option. If not, the taxi service with the biggest fleet in the New Orleans metro area is United Cab Company, although there are many other taxis roaming throughout the city you can pick up.
