I'm Back In The Saddle...

OK...so finally able to blog consistently now that I am back in the United States.  For those of you that do not know, I was away the last 10 months and just came back from being deployed to Iraq.  I will definitely be writing more about my encounters and some good and bad stories about my experiences over there on this blog in the near future.  Apart from that, I want to continue where I left off and have this be a mix of important political and current events as well as just some lighthearted writing covering a variety of subjects.  Whether you agree, disagree or feel impartial as to the subjects I write about I encourage open dialogue and comments if you feel strongly enough about it.  This is a place where I let my thoughts go wherever they decide to go that day, so a warning is being issued here to beware.  Stories or subjects  may offend some and not because they are meant to, but because I am speaking from the heart and about my honest beliefs. So that being said and wanting to start this off on a positive note; its great to be back in this wonderful country!

Uh Oh.....

Low-density lipoprotein levels were higher then they were supposed to be on my blood tests. Didnt fast the 12-14 hours I was supposed to because I did not have advanced warning. Getting retested today. Not sure what happens if they come back high again.....

When Things Get Crazy....

It is good to know who is truly there for you. It has been a pretty emotional week. Some negative, but believe it or not...A LOT of positive...

I Don't Know Where I'm Going, But I Sure Know Where I've Been...

So many emotions and thoughts in my head right now. Good , bad and other. Thank you for all of you that have been so supportive so far. I've had to do a lot in a little bit of time and if it wasn't for my family and true friends, I wouldn't be able to do it. 7 more days until I head out to Ft. Bliss, Texas (Ft. Bliss my ass lol). There til sep 26, home for about a week then out til july/august of next year. I'm taking a big ass vacation when I get back!
